Today is heavy on the fast stuff, the heavy stuff, and the nasty stuff. Sorry if that isn’t your style. I’m especially looking forward to digging in to the Rid of Me and Method of Doubt records. Method of Doubt has a very classic melodic hardcore style that I really respond to. Elsewhere, while I haven’t totally kept up with Marissa Paternoster’s work since mid-period Screaming Females, this new record sounds really good. Less ragged and shredded but instead leans toward really dreamy, interesting indie rock.
