The new Joyce Manor record is a real joy. Splits the difference between their early pop-punk leanings and more indie rock styles perfectly. It’s also 18 minutes long, which is the perfect runtime for a punk record (maybe for any record, actually). I also really like the Sam Gendel record. It’s completely off-the-wall electronic jazz (or something) that scratches a particular itch.
