I will be brief with my debrief on this week’s tunes. The two new SPICE tracks are just right. Great mood for today’s grey skies, and I think it proves without a doubt that more bands should have violin players in them.
Then there’s the new Converge record. A collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe. It’s really cool to hear them stretching their sound in new directions, yet again. And, of course, they make it work and it slays. Heavy, ripping, moody… just all those things you need from a Converge album.
